SMS Services

Branded SMS — SMS Masking

Replace the random sender number with your registered company name. SendPK registers your mask with PTA and delivers branded SMS over direct routes on Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone.

What is SMS masking?

SMS masking means sending text messages under a registered brand name — the mask, or sender ID — instead of a phone number. When your mobile balance recharge confirmation arrives from your telecom operator's name rather than some random number, that is a masked SMS at work.

In Pakistan, masks are registered with the PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority). Once approved, your name replaces the sender number on every message you send — campaigns, alerts, reminders and notifications alike. You may also see this service called Branded SMS; it is the same thing.

  • One registration covers all four networks — Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone
  • Works for both marketing campaigns and transactional alerts
  • Mask name: 3–11 English characters, including spaces
  • No setup costs, no daily sending limit — you only pay per SMS, with free API integration

SMS masking fees

Simple, flat fees — no setup costs, no license costs, no hidden charges.

Mask approval fee One-time, per mask

Rs 5,000

Annual renewal fee Due before June 30 each year

Rs 5,000

After approval you only pay the standard per-message rates — see the pricing table on the Pricing page. There is no daily sending limit, and API integration is free.

Mask registration requirements

Everything PTA needs is a single stamped application on your company letterhead.

Your letterhead application must include

  • The mask / brand name you want to send from — 3 to 11 English characters, including spaces
  • Name and designation of your official representative
  • Complete company name
  • Business office address
  • CNIC of the representative and the company's NTN (National Tax Number)
  • Company stamp and the representative's signature

PTA will not register

  • Masks that differ from the NTN and registered business name
  • Domain names (for example anything ending in .com)
  • Individual, common or religious names
  • Applications where the letterhead doesn't match the masking title
  • Applications with an invalid NTN

Download the masking request form

Type it onto your official letterhead, scan it, and email it to [email protected] — with your SendPK username in the subject line.

Download Form

Approval takes 30 – 45 business days

Mask registration is a two-stage process: PTA first reviews your application and grants masking approval, then registers the approved name with every mobile operator in Pakistan — Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone — before it goes live on your account. Please plan your launch timeline accordingly.

How mask registration works

Four simple steps to get your brand name live on every network.

Prepare the form

Download the masking request form and type it onto your company's official letterhead with stamp and signature.

Email the scan

Send a scanned copy to [email protected] with your SendPK username in the subject line.

PTA registration

We forward your request to PTA, which registers your mask with Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone.

Start sending

Once approved, every SMS you send — from the portal or the API — carries your brand name.

Why businesses use SMS masking

A recognised sender name is the difference between a message that gets read and one that gets ignored.

Instant brand recognition

Customers know it's you before they even open the message — every SMS doubles as a brand impression.

Higher open & read rates

Messages from a named sender get opened far more often than texts from unknown numbers.

Trust & credibility

A PTA-registered name protects your messages from being mistaken for spam or fraud.

Better response rates

Promotions, reminders and alerts all convert better when recipients trust the sender.

One name, all networks

Your mask displays identically on Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone — one registration, nationwide.

Marketing + transactional

Use the same branded identity for campaigns, order updates, OTPs and appointment reminders.

Where masked SMS works best

Any business that texts its customers benefits from a recognised sender name.

Banks & Finance — transaction alerts

E-commerce — order & delivery updates

Schools — fee & result notices

Clinics — appointment reminders

Retail — promotions & offers

Software houses — OTPs & alerts

SMS masking — frequently asked questions

A mask — also called a sender ID or brand name — is the name that appears as the sender of your SMS instead of a phone number. Once your mask is registered, every message you send shows your company name, for example "SENDPK", rather than an unknown mobile number.
Yes. Masking is the registration process that gives you a branded sender ID; messages sent with that registered name are called Branded (masked) SMS. You will see both terms used interchangeably.
Mask registration typically takes 30 to 45 business days. PTA first reviews and grants masking approval, then registers the approved name across the Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone networks.
Mask approval is a one-time fee of Rs 5,000, plus an annual renewal fee of Rs 5,000 due before June 30 each year. After approval, you only pay the standard Branded SMS per-message rates — there are no setup costs, hidden charges or daily sending limits.
A mask must be 3 to 11 English characters long, including spaces. Choose a name that matches your registered business name, since PTA verifies it against your NTN and letterhead.
Per PTA policy, a mask cannot be registered if it differs from your NTN and registered business name, if it is a domain name (for example anything ending in .com), if it is an individual, common or religious name, or if the application letterhead or NTN is invalid.
Yes. Your company must have a valid NTN (National Tax Number), and the application must include the CNIC of your official representative along with a stamped, signed request on your company letterhead.
Yes. One registration covers all four networks — Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone — and SendPK delivers your branded messages over direct operator routes.

Transactional SMS — Short Code OTP

Critical, time-sensitive, system-generated messages — OTPs, verification codes, alerts and confirmations — delivered over a PTA-approved Short Code route built for speed and near-100% reliability on every network in Pakistan.

Phone screen showing an OTP verification SMS delivered from Short Code 8584

What is Transactional SMS?

A system-triggered text, not a marketing message — sent the instant your platform needs it.

Transactional SMS is a text message that your application generates and sends automatically the moment something happens — a login, a payment, an order, an appointment — rather than a message a person types and sends manually. Because it often carries time-sensitive information like a one-time password (OTP), it travels over a dedicated 4-digit Short Code route that PTA reserves specifically for OTP and transactional traffic, keeping it separate from regular bulk SMS lanes for consistently faster, more dependable delivery.

Unlike Branded SMS, transactional messages aren't about brand recognition — they're about speed and certainty. One Short Code integration reaches every subscriber in Pakistan — Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone — including ported numbers and lines with DND (Do Not Disturb) enabled, so the OTPs, alerts and confirmations your business depends on arrive within seconds, on every network, every time.

Reaches numbers other SMS types can't

Delivered on ported (MNP) numbers — high-priority routing ensures successful delivery even if the recipient has switched from one mobile network operator to another.

Reaches DND & DNCR subscribers — promotional and Branded SMS are typically blocked for DND (Do Not Disturb) and DNCR (Do Not Call Register) numbers, but Transactional SMS is permitted for essential, service-related communication, so critical messages still reach the recipient without interruption.

Built for critical, time-sensitive delivery

PTA-approved Short Code routing keeps your OTPs and alerts fast, reliable and separate from bulk SMS traffic.

PTA-approved routes

Every message travels over a PTA-approved 4-digit Short Code — the officially sanctioned channel for OTP and transactional traffic in Pakistan.

Near-100% reliability

Engineered for consistent delivery across Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone — including hard-to-reach ported numbers and DND-activated lines.

Instant delivery

Messages send the moment your system triggers them — no queues, no delays — so OTPs and alerts land in seconds.

Dedicated OTP API

A dedicated Short Code API lets your platform trigger transactional SMS automatically — no manual sending required.

Any workflow that depends on an instant, trusted text message.

WhatsApp Official — Business API

Send and receive WhatsApp messages from your own number or brand identity through Meta's fully verified Business API. As an authorized Meta Business Partner, SendPK connects you directly to Meta — no number-ban risk, real two-way conversations, and the official path to a verified, green-checkmark business account.

What is WhatsApp Official?

The verified, Meta-approved route to messaging your customers on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp Official — also known as the WhatsApp Business API — is the fully verified messaging channel Meta provides for businesses. SendPK is an authorized Meta Business Partner, so we connect your own phone number or brand identity directly to Meta's official platform, instead of routing messages through an unofficial, ban-prone number.

Once connected, you get a dedicated two-way inbox for real conversations — not just outbound blasts — plus the option to verify your business with Meta for the recognisable green checkmark, add team members, automate replies, and even plug in AI chatbots.

Why businesses choose WhatsApp Official

The official channel built for scale, trust and real conversations.

No number-ban risk

Messages travel over Meta's official API, not a personal-number workaround — so there's no risk of WhatsApp banning your line for bulk sending.

Verified official account

Verify your business directly with Meta using your CNIC, NTN or a utility bill, and unlock the recognisable green checkmark next to your name.

Two-way inbox & teams

A dedicated app lets you chat with customers directly, add agents and build a shared team inbox — not just one-way broadcasts.

Automation & AI chatbots

Automate replies, route conversations and plug in AI chatbots to handle common questions without a human on every message.

Billed only for delivered messages

You're only charged for messages Meta actually delivers — sent-only or undelivered messages cost nothing.

Rich, interactive messages

Send images, documents, buttons and catalogs — not just plain text — for a richer conversation than standard SMS.

Message categories

Meta bills each conversation under one of four categories — see the pricing page for current rates.

Utility — order & shipping updates Service — customer support replies Marketing — promotions & offers Authentication — login & verification codes

Getting started

SendPK handles the connection — you provide the number, we handle the Meta setup.

Requirements for activation

No documentation is required to use WhatsApp Official. If you'd like to show your brand name/mask on WhatsApp, verify your account directly on Meta's own platform by providing your CNIC, NTN, or a utility bill/bank statement — whichever shows your business name.

WhatsApp Services

WhatsApp Non-Official — Personal Number API

Connect your own personal or business WhatsApp number to SendPK's platform for two-way conversations — OTPs, order updates, invoices and support replies — without going through Meta's official Business API onboarding.

What is WhatsApp Non-Official?

Your own WhatsApp number, connected to SendPK — no Meta business verification required.

WhatsApp Non-Official connects a real, personal or business WhatsApp number — the same app you already use — to SendPK's platform by scanning a QR code, rather than registering through Meta's official Business API. It's a faster, lighter-weight way to send and receive WhatsApp messages from your own number without Meta's business verification process.

Because it runs on a regular WhatsApp account rather than an approved Business API line, it's best suited to transactional and conversational messaging — OTPs, order confirmations, invoices, appointment reminders and one-to-one customer support — rather than large marketing blasts, which aren't permitted on this route (see restrictions below).

API & how it works

Connect once, then send from your own systems in minutes.

Create your account

Sign up on the SendPK dashboard and choose the package that matches your accounts and monthly volume.

Connect your number

Add a WhatsApp account from the control panel and scan the QR code with your phone — just like linking WhatsApp Web.

Integrate or use the portal

Send and receive messages through a simple HTTP API from your own systems, or manage everything from the web portal — no coding required.

Chat & track delivery

Reply to customers directly, build simple chatbots from incoming messages, and download delivery reports for every message sent.

Features

Everything you need for real, two-way WhatsApp conversations.

Two-way messaging

Send and receive messages on the same number — reply to customers directly or build simple chatbots from incoming replies.

Simple HTTP API

Send messages straight from your own systems with a straightforward API, or skip code entirely and use the web portal.

Rich media

Send images, audio and documents alongside text — not just plain messages.

No character limit

Write as much as you need, in any language — including Urdu — without SMS's 160-character restriction.

Delivery reports

Track every message you send, with downloadable delivery reports for your records.

Multiple accounts

Connect several WhatsApp numbers to the same account and manage them all from one dashboard.

Best-fit use cases

Conversational, one-to-one messaging — not bulk marketing blasts.

OTP & Verification Order Confirmations Invoices & Receipts Appointment Reminders Customer Support Replies Account Notifications

Requirements & restrictions

An unofficial route — read this before connecting your number.

Requirements for activation

No documentation is required to use WhatsApp Non-Official. If you'd like to show your brand name/mask on WhatsApp, verify your account directly on Meta's own platform by providing your CNIC, NTN, or a utility bill/bank statement — whichever shows your business name.

Delivery details & restrictions

  • Bulk/broadcast messaging is not permitted on this route.
  • Not an official Meta-approved channel — WhatsApp may block the connected number at its own discretion.
  • Use an established number (ideally 15+ days old) and only message people who know you — don't connect an important or new primary number.
  • We can't be held responsible for a number banned by WhatsApp.
